Scope of activites:
- conducting methodology research within the scope of
experimental design and statistical analysis of experimental results,
- adaptation and further development of plant growth models
and modelling effects of spatial variability of stands,
enhancement of databases on agricultural production space along with
appropriate applications in the GIS format,
- development of computerized decision support systems and
computer programs to meet internal needs and aid external activities of
the Institute
- determination of the impact of climate on yield performance
in Poland,
- research into the information role of solar radiation in
plant growth and development,
- determination of the impact of supposed climate change on
agricultural production
- development of methods of yield forecasting
- running 27 meteorological stations in Poland and creation
of the database on weather
- providing the Agriculture Drought
